Pre-Value
Overview
The PRE-VALUE card function is used to create pre-valued laundry cards with a specific balance, bonus, or discount for your customers. Use this function to produce powerful marketing programs, and then notify people of the promotion. For example, you might advertise that the first 50 customers to come in at a certain time would receive a card with a starting value of $5.

Pre-Value
To access this function, your specific Card ID (The 12-digit number on the back of the card) must have PRE-VALUE selected under CARDS in permission settings. Please see your store Owner/Manager to update your permission settings. See Permission Settings and Functions for more information on how to set permissions.
WARNING: THIS FUNCTION CANNOT BE UNDONE! Make sure the information is correct and that the cards stay secure after creation.
To issue this type of card, follow the instructions below.
Insert your card
Select CARDS from the main menu.
Select PRE-VALUE.
Use the keypad on the next screen to enter the starting card number and the ending card number (12-digit number found on the back of each LaundryCard) for this batch of cards. (The cards will be numbered in sequence.)
Then enter the value balance, bonus, deposit, and/or discount information to be applied, and finally, choose PRE-VALUE.

Last Card # | The last 12-digit card number in the sequence of cards you wish to pre-value |
Balance | The amount of money you wish to assign the card, if any |
Bonus | An additional amount of money you wish to assign the card, if any |
Deposit | The amount of money you wish to assign the card that is required to dispense the card, if any |
Discount | The percentage of discount a customer can receive on machines in the store (This % also shows on the Card Details page and the machines must be configured to allow a % discount in order for the customer to receive the discount) |
Comments | The comments you wish to describe this pre-valued set of cards. These comments also can be searched in the Card Details screen to locate this set of pre-valued cards. |
Pre-Value Confirmation
Once the required fields are entered in the Create Pre-Valued LaundryCards page, a success screen will populate, indicating what card range was set for pre-valuing and parameters submitted.
When reviewing the Card Details of any of the pre-valued card numbers within the specific range, the individual Card Activity will display that the newly pre-valued card has been assigned and the user card number that assigned its pre-value.
Additionally, a generated logfile will also be stored on the X-Changer that the pre-value function was initiated, which you may contact CCI Technical Support for more information.
