Creating a POS User
This page is intended to walk a Store Owner through adding a POS User type to their FasCard System in order to integrate their POS (Point of Sale) with the FasCard System. However, to integrate a POS with FasCard, Store Owners must contact their POS administrator. The POS Administrators will determine what is needed for their systems to integrate with FasCard. The POS Administrators potentially may need a username and password to integrate the POS with FasCard. If this is the case, the instructions on how to do create a POS User are below.
A POS User type (Point of Sale) is a specific user created ONLY by a FasCard Account Admin user or CCI Technical Staff. These users are created to generate a one-time password for the POS System Administrator to integrate the POS with the FasCard System.
Creating a POS User Account
The first step in integrating the FasCard System with a POS is to create a POS User in the FasCard Admin site under the Users Tab. Click on the link below to create a POS User.
Creating a POS Equipment Type
The next step in integrating the FasCard System with a POS is to add a POS Equipment Type under the Setup Tab and click the Equipment Types link. Click the link below to create a POS Equipment type.
