This guide provides brief reference and instructions to making Process Menu Options available without placing the washer into a Service state.

NOTE:

This option is only available with LaundryCard v9.0.9+ and FasCard / FLEX systems running v1.13.07+ Laundrylux Compass Pro Washer Reader Firmware. If Process Menu options dropdowns are not visible, the Equipment Type may not be correct or firmware may be out-of-date.

Overview

With Laundrylux Compass Pro Washers, various process menus are typically available on the machine by means of activating a Service button or key within the machine itself and can be configured at the machine level to be available without going into a Service state. With LaundryCard and FasCard/FLEX readers using updated firmware, availability of these process menus can now be adjusted within its respective Equipment Configuration options.

When updating the Process Menu, a set of menus to enable or disable would be available, based on the following durations:

  • Enabled - Regret Time Only - Allows a Process Menu to only be accessible for a short duration after a cycle has been started.

  • Enabled - Entire Program - Allows a Process Menu to be accessible throughout the entirety of a cycle.

Regret Time

While the LaundryCard and FasCard / FLEX systems have the ability to make a process menu available during this adjustable duration known as Regret Time, adjusting the length of Regret Time itself can only be done within the machine's programming. 

Please consult your manufacturer's manual for accessing Regret Time settings in machine programming.

Process Menu Configuration Location - LaundryCard

Requires Manager rights or the 'Equipment Setup' checkbox enabled in Card Permissions for a user to make Equipment changes.

  1. From Manager's Options, navigate to System Setup > Equipment Setup




  2. Select the appropriate Laundrylux Compass Pro Washer to view its pricing tables (naming schemes may vary based on setup preferences).




  3. Select the Setup button to the right of 'Cycle Time (sec):' to view the Process Menu configuration page.






  4. Once your dropdown selections have been made, select Save.

Process Menu Configuration Location - FasCard

  1. Log in to the FasCard Admin Site at https://admin.fascard.com

  2. From the Setup tab, click the Equipment Types tab that populates among the second row.




  3. Select the Laundrylux Compass Pro Washer equipment in question by clicking anywhere in its row to view its Laundrylux Compass Pro Washer equipment details.




  4. Once your dropdown selections have been made, click Save.

Process Menus - Machine

Pressing the knob on the washer will now display Process Menus while a machine is running, when enabled, depending on which menus were chosen and for how long the menus are going to be displayed.
