How-To Integrate a POS System With LaundryCard Version 9

On LaundryCard v9, we have the ability for 3rd party POS systems to utilize our POS API to integrate with our system.

V8 Compatibility

This method does not work for LaundryCard v8 or older. We no longer develop for those systems.

This only applies to 3rd party POS systems, not CCI POS systems such as the Classic POS. These credentials never expire or need to be renewed.

Step-by-step guide

  1. A SUP ticket should be created.

  2. Document what POS system they need credentials for.

  3. Update to the latest LaundryCard patch.

  4. Add POS Credential Component. The case will automatically be assigned to L3.

  5. L3 will create credentials for the 3rd party POS system.

  6. They will supply the following via email:

    1. Username (Example: store0123@laundrycardpos.com)

    2. Password

  7. We then supply the following information to the store to then forward to their 3rd party POS contact to complete the integration:

    1. Username (Example: store0123@laundrycardpos.com)

    2. Password

    3. Store ID (Example: 123 or 0123, does not matter if lead by a zero)

    4. Machine Number: 350

  8. IMPORTANT: Save the API credentials email sent to you by Chris Kite to the store's network drive. Do not upload a screenshot or paste them into the SUP.
