Card Artwork Guidelines

Overview

Please use this guide to ensure your LaundryCards and FasCards are designed and printed promptly and accurately. Options for card printing include personalized (single color on default background) or custom (full color).

LaundryCard

Personalized

Loyalty Card

      • Personalized LaundryCards use pre-printed, stock cards. Artwork is printed on top of the card using monochrome resin ribbons in a thermal transfer printing process.
      • The area personalized artwork may be applied to is limited to a 2.67" x 1.31" area on the front of the card and a 1.62" x 1.24" area on the back of the card.

Artwork

      • Artwork on the front of the personalized LaundryCard must be a single, solid color and may not contain any uses of transparencies or gradients. The color can be chosen from our color pallet below.

      • Artwork on the back of the personalized LaundryCard can only be printed in a solid black color and may not contain any uses of transparencies or gradients.

Provided Artwork

      • Submitted files must be in a JPG, PDF, PSD, PNG, TIF, or EPS file format.
      • Recommended all artwork submitted to be 300 DPI or higher.
      • Avoid using small details and font sizes below 6pt. These small details may not print properly or could be lost in the pre-printed background image. Please consider in any artwork design that, due to the printing process, there is no anti-aliasing. This may cause the edges of artwork and fonts to appear jagged on the final product.
      • CCI is not responsible for converting artwork to fit these requirements.

Printing

      • Cards orders will not be sent to be printed until the LaundryCard Artwork Approval Form is received by CCI signed, and marked approved.
      • There is a 2-3 week lead time is from the business day CCI receives the signed approval form to the date the printer ships out the order.
      • Minimum order quantity of 1,000 cards. Orders must be placed in multiples of 1,000.
      • Estimated shipping weight of cards and packaging are:
        • 1000 cards - 13 lbs
        • 2000 cards - 24 lbs
        • 3000 cards - 36 lbs

Customized

Loyalty Card

      • Please refer to the example below for printable area sizes. If a background image or color will be used, be sure to include enough of a bleed. All artwork and text should be kept within the type limit to ensure it does not get cut off during the printing process. There is also a 1.62" x 1.24" printable area on the back of the card.

 

Artwork

      • Artwork on the front of the customized LaundryCard can make use of 1, 2, 3 color process, or full CMYK printing.
      • Artwork on the back of the personalized LaundryCard can only be printed in a solid black color and may not contain any uses of transparencies or gradients.

      • Artwork on the back of the personalized FasCard can only be printed in a solid black color and may not contain any uses of transparencies or gradients.

      • Submitted files must be in a JPG, PDF, PSD, PNG, TIF, or EPS file format.
      • Recommended all artwork submitted to be 300 DPI or higher.
